RofS Cover Art BWYellowRules of Success is finally BACK.

Monday, August 22, 2016 there appears a new episode while continuing the former schedule on iTunes and at RulesofSuccess.com / IamMrPrescott.com.

I took a few months to regroup and refine the tone and message while making a few tweaks to the format. The past few months have been a proverbial ‘sharpen your saw’ moment, and I feel better equipped to continue on with all of the work that it takes to keep it on the air.

There are few things that I feel important to discuss going forward.

First up are the actual changes to the show.

Before, there were two episode types; a full length episode where I’d interview a high-level achiever of some sort and give them a platform to share their perspective and value. This type of episode didn’t have a name other than “full length episode” with a label that included the name of my guest. The other type of episode was called Side Car and was a brief 5-10 share of an experience, a lesson or thought that I had that could make a difference to you as a listener.

Back to the full length episodes..

I’ve decided to call these episodes “The Rules of Success Interview Series.” I’ve changed the format to isolate a key “Rule of Success” that was extracted from the bulk of my conversation and share that “rule” as a part of the first few minutes of the podcast.

I’ve also moved my sponsorship reads to be right before the main interview and after the “Rule” and introduction monologue. My intent is to make it easier for you to listen and keep your attention on the content.

As for the Side Car episodes..

I have no more desire for a cutesy name that promotes more questions that it answers. So, that name no longer exists. Those episodes are referred to now as “The Rules of Success Development Series” and overall will have a very similar format. The only change is that I will lead with another isolated “Rule of Success” to consider as you listen as I head into my prepared remarks in the 5-10 minute format.

Through out this time off I recognized some things.

One of the things is that I’d overlooked that with such a gracious name as Rules of Success to actually focusing on those rules; deliberately.

From here on out every episode leads with a focus on a Rule of Success from the jump.

Additionally, I’ve recognized that a small adjustment in how I personally approach it could make it such a more powerful piece of content to consume.

That adjustment is a more collaborative approach with other success based and development media that exists. Inviting more roundtable type discussions as episodes. I don’t know all the Rules of Success; but I can be the ringleader that brings them to light. It would allow for all the same narrative of a balanced life to exist while brooding the horizons for who listens.

It is my intention to have Rules of Success reach the ears of hundreds of millions of people and to change the landscape of how people measure success.

I intend for it to be a jump off for thousands of people to collaborate with a mutual goal and being others into this fold that may be reluctant to jump in.

Success leaves clues, and so the more people we have “on the case” the easier it will be to crack the code and help people succeed; deliberately.

Lastly, I want to thank you for the support and ask for assistance.

The last few months off has naturally effected the numbers of new listeners to the show and even stagnated the numbers from what they were when production was in full swing. We need to kickstart interest in the show and in the idea of what Rules of Success means.

If you’ve made it this far, I’d ask a simple favor.

Please share this post and lead with the link bit.ly/RulesofSuccess and help me to spread the word and restart the movement.

Thank you!
